Through its AP program, College Board administers 37 courses and exams. Although not every course is offered every year, Edison offers up to 30 of the 37 courses, depending on demand and other course scheduling considerations. These classes are weighted and follow TPS policy.

To prepare younger students for the level of study required in an AP class, Edison has developed pre-AP classes which are more rigorous than the equivalent non-pre-AP class. Because of the more intensive demands in these classes, pre-AP classes are also weighted.
